Re: playing tonight (12.09)

If you have an AMD card there are some interesting ati settings that might help you. I don't remember them but if you do a web search you should find some from various forums.

Re: Bloody Sunday

I thought the admin nights dried up pretty much as I haven't seen any topics for them. I'm free to play on sunday and I think all of these kind of initiatives are good.

Re: New PC with Win8.1

You need to either install the game outside of the Program Files(x86) or right click the start icon on your desktop, select properties and select "run as administrator" from the compatibility tab. You can directly copy the "Wolfenstein..." to some non restricted location and then...

Re: True or False?

That's not even all of it. Russians made 4 goals during questinable penalty killings, including one on 5vs3 with both Finnish penalties show on that video. The tournament was a joke overall. The one where Tshipatsev shouldered Jormakkas head was from the preliminary round though. I don't remember if...

Re: OpenSSL forked into LibreSSL

Ok. I had a little time so I skimmed over what he has written this time. First of all I will attach to the chroot thing. He has the history wrong. Here is a better reference for it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chroot . Now, he is correct that chroot has long history of vulnerabilities and it is not ...

Re: OpenSSL forked into LibreSSL

Hardware support is usually lagging in BSDs. Otherwise, there are some benefits and some not so great things. Though usually the not so great things are equally present in Linuxes, but just hidden from the users. I'll just name one good thing on BSDs: Jails. There is nothing equivalent to that on Li...

silEnT 0.8.2

I have updated the server to the new silEnT 0.8.2. This is not a public release yet, so you will be beta testing it as usual. There wasn't much changes. Mostly bug fixing etc. One new feature is the objective icon that will be displayed if the opposing team picks up objectives to carry. It can be di...

Here is some more information of this exploit http://heartbleed.com/ OpenSSL is used in over 90 percent of SSL implementations, so now quickly to exploit this to find out the secrets of everybody. Please don't go into hysteria though, other implementations may not have this specific bug but they hav...

Maintenance

I'm doing some maintenance to the website. For that reasons there are some stuff missing fro time to time etc. This does not affect the game server in any way, however.

Maintenance will continue for a while still.

Re: Awaiting connection all the time

Last time you appear in the log is 2014-03-31. That is also the last time anyone with Linux client has connected.
