SLAC is good but theres couple of things which make it not preferable to public server.
No Mac clients.
All bans are delayed bans. Admins can of course give local bans.
It needs registering an account. Many players don't bother with that on public servers.
However, it is for competitive gaiming. Also, who knows how big it will become. We (the silEnT team) have of course opened discussion with them by writing an email.
