Toshiba published a 1,500$ priced 4K touch screen laptop

When I first saw this news, I thought that there has to be some compromises done. But when looking in to the specs, this is quite piece of hardware after all. Intel i7 CPU, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 4K IPS panel and even discrete graphics card. Not sure about what GPU it has, because in other news it says AMD R9 M265X and in the other news only NVIDIA.
Couple drawbacks can be found. No SSD and probably not long battery life. Mousepad is on a bit strange place, though external mouse would be used most of the time. But otherwise seems very good and if I would need laptop at the moment, I would consider this laptop serious.
